Karina Larsen Evers
Karina Larsen Evers is the Marketing Manager for Arundo Analytics, a provider of analytical and predictive solutions that raise utilization and performance in asset-heavy industries such as maritime and energy. Prior to Arundo, Karina has worked in upstream oil & gas and telecommunications. Karina holds a BSc in International Management with a minor in French from Butler University and graduated with an MBA with an Energy/Management Consulting concentration from Rice University in 2009. Karina is currently the NAWMBA Houston Professional Chapter President, following a term as Vice President and a term and half as Secretary from 2012-2017. Karina was also the VP of Marketing for the local Rice student chapter from 2008-2009.
Juliana Herman is the Marketing Director of Dynamic Air Shelters, an innovative company providing fabric shelters for extreme environments such as harsh weather and hazardous environments. Her primary responsibility is to provide strategy direction and execute that strategy though marketing communications and sales processes. Prior to joining Dynamic Air Shelters, Juliana was involved in the oil and gas valve industry with as Manager of Marketing Analysis for Cameron’s Valves & Measurement (V&M) group and Senior Market Analyst for Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Company. She has almost 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and over 10 years of experience in the clothing and textiles industry. Juliana has a B.S. in Clothing and Textiles from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Rice University. While receiving her MBA, Juliana served as the Vice President of Database Marketing for the NAWMBA National Student Leadership Team.
Natalie Navellier is Regional Vice President for Touchstone Investment. She is responsible for sales eﬀorts serving ﬁnancial professionals in South Texas and Louisiana. For the past three years, she was responsible for promoting Touchstone’s product lineup of mutual funds to wirehouses and independent channels in Southern California and Hawaii. Before joining Touchstone, Natalie was a client service associate for a wealth advisor at Gratus Capital Management, a registered investment advisor. Natalie earned an MBA in International Business from Xavier University and a BA in Economics from Emory University.
Jennipher Cole is currently Senior MBA Admissions Officer, Greater Houston at the University of Texas at Austin. She has a BA in Psychology from Loyola University New Orleans, an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling and Women’s Studies, and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Advisory Board Liaison
Heidi Herzog, Director, NGL Origination, has over 20 years of experience in commodities and the energy industry. In her current role, Smith holds responsibility for developing business relationships and contractual commitments supporting the commercialization of Phillips 66’s refineries, fractionators, and the new Freeport, Texas LPG export terminal coming online in 2016. Before joining Phillips 66 in October 2013, Smith served as Business Development Director for BP’s North America Gas and Power since 2007. From 2003 to 2007, Smith held various roles at BP including business development, optimization, risk management and marketing within BP’s Integrated Supply and Trading and Upstream Supply Chain Management organizations. Heidi earned a Bachelors degree in Economics and Finance from Simpson College and an MBA from Washington University’s John M. Olin School of Business. She currently sits on the Board of the Houston Professional Chapter of National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA).
Alison Duplechin is Head of Supply Excellence for Sulzer Ltd., a Swiss industrial engineering and manufacturing firm. Alison’s group focuses on improvement of global procurement processes, systems and tools, communications, KPIs and special projects. Her past experience includes Cameron International as a Global Sourcing Manager for direct spend management and with Johnson & Johnson where she gained expertise in Supply Chain process, strategy, and system implementations. Alison has a B.S. in Psychology from Texas State University, an MBA from University of Houston, and a Master in Global Management from Thunderbird. While receiving her MBA, Alison served as the Vice President of Community Relations for the NAWMBA Student Chapter.
Hami Arrington is Co-founder at One Foot Over, a digital marketing agency that helps businesses get found online. Hami holds a BA in Public Relations and Marketing and an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University. She serves on the boards of the NAWMBA Houston Professional Chapter and Houston Chapter of the American Marketing Association. She also served as Marketing Chair for the NAWMBA 2015 National Conference.
Director Community Relations
Ojas Desai is currently Director Business Development, Midstream Commercial at Phillips 66. She has a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Mumbai University, a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from McNeese State University, and an MBA from Rice University.
Rajashree Birari is currently Manager, Strategic Marketing Planning, Customer Insights, and Client Accounts at REV Foodservice. She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Software Product Management and Development from Savitribai Phule Pune University and an MBA from University of Houston.
Patrice Henry is currently US Tax Exempt Debt Compliance and Assistant Treasurer at BP. She graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Accounting and an MBA from Regis University.
